Maine LLC Filing Fees (2026): Formation, Annual Report and Agent
Every dollar Maine charges an LLC, in one place. These figures come from Title 31's fee statute (31 M.R.S. § 1680) and the Secretary of State's own forms list, not from recycled blog numbers.

Two Corrections Worth Making
First, the formation document is a Certificate of Formation. If a guide tells you to file "Articles of Organization" in Maine, it was written from a template. Second, the agent-change filing (Form CLK/RA 3) is shared across entity types and prints two rates: $35 for for-profit entities and $15 for nonprofits. An LLC pays $35; the $15 figure you sometimes see quoted is the nonprofit rate.
